So once we’ve done the LLETZ treatment, the abnormal cells are going to be sent to the laboratory for closer examination.
Following treatment you can expect some period type discomfort. This might last for a couple of days and you can take some simple painkillers for this if required. Some women may also experience bleeding and some vaginal discharge which is normal. If you did experience any heavy bleeding or anything that you just weren’t sure about, then the best thing to do would be to call back to the clinic and speak to one of the team members.
