Dr Peter Saul qualified at Liverpool University in 1977. He has postgraduate qualifications in General Practice, Child Health and Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Dr Saul trained in Child Health in Aberdeen and in General Practice in North Wales.
His extensive and varied experience includes sitting on the British Thoracic Society Guideline Committee to develop treatment guidelines for respiratory disease and working with an air ambulance company bringing ill patients home from abroad.
A prolific writer and educator, Dr Saul contributes to and is on the Editorial Board of ‘The Practitioner' medical journal and writes a weekly column on health issues for Wrexham's Evening Leader.
Dr Saul teaches medical students and junior doctors and is an examiner for qualifying exams and for specialist child health examinations.
With three teenagers at home, he has had him plenty of practice developing his interest in children's health.
