There's been much interest from the public in diet pills as potential quick fix particularly people who have really struggled with weight loss through diet and exercise. The concern, particularly amongst physicians is there is no regulation whatsoever.

Some of these diet pills are known to have side effects and it's really quite a concern. You can buy them online without anybody screening you, screening your blood pressure, screening other medical conditions that you may have. In fact, just as an experiment my niece went online to try and see if she could get them and she's 14 years old. So there's no age regulation and they're not being counselled, no-one's following them up and they're taking medications that could be really quite harmful to their health.

A herbal pill, that's become very popular it's this wonder drug potentially that's meant to make you feel full, suppress your appetite, the weight falls off, and it increases your libido apparently. Now I've actually been involved in a trial on this drug and, I have to say that none of those effects happened for me.
