Most of us don't get enough vegetables into our diet, and I'm going to show you how to make a green juice of cucumber and celery.
So, we're going to use half a cucumber and a quarter of a head of celery.
First of all, you need to wash your vegetables. You need to wash your cucumber and your celery.
And we will cut the cucumber in half and we need to make the cucumber pieces fit our juicer. So, we'll slice the celery stalk down the ribs like this, so they are the right size for the posting hole in the juicer.
Some people find it difficult to digest cucumber. And so I suggest that you use carrot instead.
And you can buy a very inexpensive juicer from your local supermarket or kitchen store.
So, it's going to be a little bit noisy while I do it.
If you want to make your juice a little sweeter, you can add carrots and beet shoot, which actually does add a little bit more variety.
Now, it is better to drink your juice within 15 minutes of you having made it.
If you do need to keep it, then I suggest you put it in an airtight container in the fridge.
You can drink your juice anytime throughout the day. It's particularly beneficial for breakfast because it helps to balance blood sugar levels.
It's also extremely useful before you go to sleep because of the high magnesium content really helps with stress and night sweats and the hot flashes. And it's very, very cooling and refreshing.
