Heat the pear, seeds, apple juice, water and vanilla pod together on a low heat for ten minutes. Add the orange (peeled and chopped). Once the pear is slightly soft (when a knife slides easily into it), serve in a bowl with vanilla ice cream or frozen yoghurt.
